The rules of our Official Discord Server mirror those of our Minecraft server and anything else connected to them: By participating in this Discord, you agree not to post abusive, slanderous, hateful, threatening, obscene, vulgar, or sexually-oriented material. Any other material that may violate any laws of your own country, The United States, or International Law are also prohibited.  -"Abusive, slanderous, hateful, or threatening" material refers to images or text that target other individuals or groups in a derogatory way. Whether intended in that way or not, meant as a joke or not, do not use language or slurs that are offensive to others. Do not target or harass any other member of the community. Doing so here or in private channels, if it is egregious enough, may result in banning from the server and the Discord community. We take the health of our community very seriously and will not tolerate the toxicity that often permeates online communities.   -"Obscene, vulgar, or sexually-oriented" material refers to any images or text that are pornographic, suggestive, or otherwise not suited to a casual environment that members can check from home or at work. NSFW material will not be allowed in any channel. We come from all walks of life and a variety of different cultures. What may be safe, normal, and even funny for you may be upsetting to others. We need to be mindful and respectful to our fellow players in this regard.   Be respectful to your fellow players and to the moderators and staff. We want this to be a friendly and welcoming server, so while our goal is not to censor you, we will moderate as necessary to keep this server clean and friendly. Do not post political views or start political conversations. Do not spam! Do not use profanity. We won't ban anyone over a "damn" or whatever, but profanity makes some people uncomfortable. Please bear that in mind when interacting with your fellow players.   Server Rules and Expectations Our server operates on a foundation of respect and fair play. All users are expected to follow these guidelines, and failure to do so may result in disciplinary actions by our staff. Staff members may modify these rules at their discretion to ensure a positive community experience.  Proper Chat Conduct: We strive to make this server a welcoming social space for players of all ages. Misconduct in chat can lead to penalties. Examples of behaviors that violate this guideline include Stirring up drama or hostility. Forcing religious views or personal opinions on others. Using disrespectful, offensive language or engaging in hate speech. Spamming or disrupting conversations. Harassing or targeting other players. Impersonating staff members. Sharing other people's personal information. Discussing real-world politics in public channels. Bypassing chat filters. Hate Speech: Any communication that expresses bias or hostility toward individuals or groups based on traits such as race, religion, or sexual orientation is prohibited.  Expected Behavior: We expect all players to act with respect toward one another. This server is about community enjoyment and positive interactions. The following actions will lead to penalties:  Engaging in predatory behavior. Using alternate accounts or loopholes to bypass punishments or restrictions. Advertising other servers or IPs. Unauthorized Clients and Mods. Players are prohibited from using any modifications that provide unfair advantages. Forbidden modifications include  X-ray texture packs or mods. Hacked clients. Macros, AFK pools, or any tools designed to bypass the AFK timer. Permitted Mods: Optifine, minimaps, AppleSkin, Durability Viewers, LightLevel Overlays, JEI, No Recipe Book, Badlion Client, Lunar Client, and Litematica/Schematica are allowed.  Exploits and Glitches: Our server encourages fair play, and exploiting Minecraft bugs or plugin flaws will result in immediate penalties. Examples of disallowed exploits include:  Vanilla exploits. Any plugin bug abuse that appears unintentional. Third-Party Trading Players are not allowed to trade in-game items or currency for real-world money unless through approved purchases in the official server store. Violating this rule will lead to a permanent ban for both the buyer and seller.  Building Guidelines: While we support collaborative builds in our open-world survival server, intentionally intruding on another player’s space or building in ways that interfere with others' progress is forbidden. This includes building or claiming land around another player’s town without permission.  Additionally, "0-tick" farms and any devices causing significant server lag are prohibited. Avoid creating large pits, walls, or barriers within a two-chunk radius (32 blocks) around other players' claims to prevent disruption of their expansion.  Automated Farms:  To clarify expectations around automatic farms:  Farm Size: As mentioned above, large farms that create server lag may need to be removed or downsized if flagged by staff.  Idle Farming: AFK farming is not permitted. Players must remain active while in chunks where automated devices are running.  Examples of Acceptable Practices:  Actively managing items while near an automated farm. Disconnecting or going to spawn if leaving your computer while a small farm is operating.  Examples of Prohibited Practices:  Leaving a contraption running unattended. Running a golem farm while away from your computer. Using an alternate account to keep a machine active while you engage in other activities. Using an alternate account to gain an advantage. Your accounts should not interact with one another. Communication Guidelines: Global chat is English-only. This helps ensure clear communication for everyone on the server.
